I’ve always been a video game kid. I got my first console, the Nintendo Entertainment System, when I was about six. If memory serves me correctly, I learned how to use DOS at the age of 4 so I could play Bushido and King’s Quest. And when I wasn’t playing in digital form, I was playing with He-Man and TMNT figures. I’ve always loved to play. I started Secondary-Fire because I had an immense passion for gaming, which was constantly being drowned out by school, or a job I hated, or just parental nagging. Gaming wasn’t the number one goal set for me at any point in my life, but it had always been a … wait for it …. secondary fire. Secondary it may have been, but it was inextinguishable. So this is the result. A blog by a huge video game geek, for other video game geeks, who might be looking for a different game to try, or a new comic to read, new tunes to jam, and so forth. This site is made with 100% pure geek love. So if you’ve ever felt that your societal obligations have gotten in the way of your personal enjoyments, then you my friend, have a secondary fire. And you’re among good friends here.
